Residential Security/Perimeter

In this configuration, the user can arm door and window ( perimeter devices ), whilst internal motion sensors are inactive, allowing full mobility within the protected environment. A range of perimeter devices are available ie vibration/ shock sensors for doors and windows, reed switches for opening doors and windows and combination devices which can be incorporated into one single device. Avant Guard Security will give you the best advice of which device should be used in a particular situation allowing you to customise the system in accordance with your budget.

Residential/Intruder

A "basic" residential alarm system can usually accomodate up to 8 zone inputs. Trends in the marketplace will show that many homes that have these basic systems installed, only have three devices installed which really offers inadequate protection at best. Consumers are often drawn to offers of " free " or low cost installations and usually find themselves locked into contracts, which over the life of the contract usually amounts to a lot more than our initial outlay.
