Alarm Systems

Alarm systems can vary in size from as little as four zones to hundreds of zones, they can have as little as 6 user codes to thousands. It is very easy to be baffled by the seemingly endless array of features that are available to you. Avant Guard Security knows that of all of the systems available many of them share the same or at least similar features. Our job is to assess your requirements, give you sound advice and let you choose the system that is most comfortable for you.

Residential Security/Perimeter

Most of us would like to have an alarm system that not only protects our valuables whilst we are away from the home but also protects our loved ones from potential home invasions whilst we are sleeping. The best way to achieve this is to install a full or part perimeter system. In this configuration, the user can arm door and window ( perimeter devices ), whilst internal motion sensors are inactive, allowing full mobility within the protected environment. A range of perimeter devices are available ie vibration/ shock sensors for doors and windows, reed switches for opening doors and windows and combination devices which can be incorporated into one single device. Avant Guard Security will give you the best advice of which device should be used in a particular situation allowing you to customise the system in accordance with your budget.

Residential/Intruder

A "basic" residential alarm system can usually accomodate up to 8 zone inputs. Trends in the marketplace will show that many homes that have these basic systems installed, only have three devices installed which really offers inadequate protection at best. Consumers are often drawn to offers of " free " or low cost installations and usually find themselves locked into contracts, which over the life of the contract usually amounts to a lot more than our initial outlay.

Monitoring is available for all non contract customers from only $6.00 per week inc gst for residential and $6.60 for Businesses. Our Grade A Control room is located in Wangara, Western Australia.
