What are the advantages of Video Verification?

There are two distinct advantages for Video verification.

• Firstly, no more being called away at the most inappropriate time for both yourself or staff members to find its just another false alarm.
• Secondly, some businesses spend tens of thousands of dollars in Security Patrol attendances for both, alarm responses or security patrols.

For just $8.80 per week this will be a thing of the past.

How does it work?

Firstly, your existing Digital Video Recorder (DVR) must be network ready. If this is the case we simply connect your DVR to the internet (an IP address is all that is required from you, this can be supplied to you by your Internet provider). We can supply the network cable and HUB if required.

Secondly, our control room must also monitor your Alarm system. Therefore, when the alarm system activates, the control room operator logs on to your DVR and checks the validity of the alarm at your premises. If no obvious activity is detected, we can do one of two things, advise you of the alarm or dismiss it as a false alarm. You can authorize the control room not to bother you if no activity is detected.

Internet Ready DVRs

There are many inexpensive DVRs on todays market which are generally not Internet ready. The good news is that we can supply you with a DVR which your current CCTV Cameras will more than likely be compatible with.

Your alarm system

If your alarm system is currently monitored then there is no reason why we cannot monitor it as well.

What costs do you need to consider

• You may need a compatible DVR, please contact us to discuss pricing.
• You will require a network cable and a hub, generally this costs around $50.00
• Your alarm system will need to be capable of being monitored by a security control room
• IT and Security Technician attendance to connect DVR to Internet and commission your alarm system to our control room. We cannot set a price on this cost until we have viewed your premise and equipment. We are however very competitive and strive to keep this initial setup cost down for our customers.
